England France and Wales Rugby Tour to
NewZealand June 2003
|
Can
the northern super powers of England, France and Wales show they will be
contenders against the might of the All Blacks when they tour down under in
June 2003?
All Black rugby is getting it's chance to see how they will fair against the best teams of the northern
hemisphere on this very tough undertaking of a three tests to be
followed immediately by the Tri-Nations series. With
plenty of scintillating play during the Super 12 this year their may be
plenty of new opportunities for a young and new look New
Zealand rugby team, this England France Wales tour will be putting plenty of
pressure on our boys to maintain their country's awesome record.

Will the hopes of England Rugby be
realized as the white jerseys of the English attempt to repeat the
November 2002 result where they triumphed 31 - 28 over the black jersey of
New Zealand. England have played the All Black team 24 times for 5 wins,
18 losses and 1 draw. |
| Undoubtedly the hardest game of
the rugby tour will be this one. French rugby is always unpredictable. The rugby
boys in blue from France will want to continue their recent good form over
the team from New Zealand. France has broken even with the All Blacks over
the last 10 games - both sides winning 5 each. This tour game should prove
to be a beauty so if you are a French fan get your French
shirt now. |

| Can Wales
recapture their international ranking on their southern tour? Welsh Rugby has a fine tradition against NZ All
Blacks rugby. Much of the rugby folk lore that exists today has been
created during epic struggles between the red rugby jersey of the Welsh
Dragons and the black rugby jersey of the All Blacks. Unfortunately
for the Welsh, their last win against New Zealand was on a distant 19th
December at Cardiff in 1953. |
